omniplex

This website I’m building with a couple of other people that will be something akin to a combination of sites like Plaxo and Exchange server integration with Outlook for calendaring and contacts.  The website itself will be fairly easy and allow more fine grained controls then most systems currently have available.  We will also be targeting native clients like Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird and hand held devices like the Blackberry and Windows Mobile devices.  Eventually we will target Apple devices but Apple already has a service that would be a competitor, though I don’t think it’s as extensive nor is it available on the breadth of platforms we want to target.  Eventually this will also lead into project management abilities and could go into source code repositories.

I guess we will see where it leads us.
