The start of memorial day has begun. For us the pool opens in our neighborhood. However we are going camping with another set of fanilies near Gettysburg PA. It should be fun and I will post more as the days go on.

Today is Easter, the day we all search for the elusive Cadbury bunny in the vain attempt to capture him and force him to lay a golden egg ( I’m tired of chocolate ). As a parent I am supposed to promote the fact that the Easter Bunny lays eggs and hides them ( he’s a sly one isn’t he? ) and that children must find them. My daughter knows the Easter Bunny doesn’t exist and I think my son is confused by the whole rabbit laying an egg bit.  But neither really cares, they just want the candy

I made some awesome pancakes this morning and soon we will be off to find the Bunny.
