So, the Internet is abuz with news that Yahoo is closing Geocities.  It’s a sad day and I recall making a few sites using Geocities way way back, and long before Yahoo bought them. It’s a sad day, though Geocities has been in a downard spiral for awhile.

Brings back some memories, not sure if they are all good.

While I was at the mother in-laws today with the wife and kids, I was doing some work around her house. One of them was to remove some vines around a pair of trees so it wouldn’t choke the life out of them. Unfortunatly, while pulling a vine, a hidden nest fell down and two eggs fell out.  I’m really sad to report that the eggs broke open upon impact with the ground.  It’s a bit depressing.
