Some friends from out of town came to visit us and others this week. After we moved to Las Vegas, NV they moved to Dallas, TX and then to some place in Ohio. I took two days off from work to clean up around the house while my wife took the kids to some museums in DC and the Udvar hazy Center. My son as it turns out loves the Udvar Hazy Center as it has alot of airplanes for him to look at. He really loves airplanes and I think I will take him there again. It’s a shame that due to the September 11th attacks they enacted stupid rulesat airports. One of those rules though is that ticket holders are not allowed past the gates. Unfortunatly while the rule doesn’t stop anything, it does stop me from taking my son to the airport and watching airplanes take off and land.

Applications
I’m thinking about writing some applications now for hand held devices. Like the Blackberry, Smartphones (Symbian and Windows CE), as well as the Android. I’m not sure about the whole iPhone as I’m not a big fan of it and if I did, I might have to go the unlocked route. I have noticed there is a large disparity between hand held applications and being able to actually do things on the internet or work network ( VPN (maybe) or BB Server connection ). There are alot of things that can be done and viewed from the various devices that would make work for alot of people more effeicient and productive instead of having to be tethered to a computer all the time.
